MESSY is the name given to the (secondary school age) youth work at Minster.
There are three strands to Minster’s Youth Work; The MESSY Youth Club, The Truth - Youth Course & The Sunday Youth Group.
This runs fortnightly on a Friday at 7:30 (see above for the dates) and is held in the church hall.
During each MESSY the youngsters can choose whether they want to play games or be involved in a craft activity or play on the play station dance mats; or they can have a go at all three!
Every MESSY Youth Club ends with a short interactive 'God Slot', currently we are looking at 'Prayer- What Is It And What’s The Point In Doing It?'
This runs on alternate Fridays (see above) this is at 7:30 in the Minster loft youth room. The Truth is a course aimed at young people who are interested in finding out more about God. It’s informal, informative and interactive.
